Let Freedom Ring!

Independence Day is going to be a five-day long party around here.  We started things off with an unforgettable day at the beach yesterday.  Unforgettable because Parker was the only one to come home without a sunburn (Dang sun finally made its appearance!  Apparently I wasn't as thorough with coating the kids in sunblock as I thought I was.), and unforgettable because it was my first day-long beach trip with just me and the four boys.  We scored great parking and luckily the older boys were good at packing in all our beach supplies.  Randy bought me a beach cart but I told him to take it back.  "That's what the boys are for!"
That night we had a delicious BBQ dinner with friends, watched fireworks, and stayed up way too late, all before the actual 4th of July holiday could begin!  Now we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Oki family, the Kiser's, who are driving in from NY to spend the next four days with us.  It's going to be a blast.  And complete and total chaos.  Can't wait!
