We're in Utah and I can't stop smiling about it! We've been having so much fun since we got here I haven't taken nearly enough pictures and am so busy running from one thing to the next I hardly have time to breathe. The boys and I flew out last week while Randy hangs out in RI for a few more days. The flight was completely uneventful and a total breeze. Flying to and from Okinawa for three years makes every other flight/road trip easy in comparison.
We are soaking in every spare moment of togetherness with both family and friends. We celebrated Farmington Festival Days last Saturday just like back in the good ol' days before Mom and Linz died. I ran the 5k {and thanks to the high altitude versus running at sea level I think I know what a heart attack feels like} and had Laura running along side me for moral support. After Dad's delicious breakfast we were off to the parade, where the kids got tons of candy and Ethan karate-chopped a board in half so everyone came home happy.
We've been doing lots of pool swimming. It's way better than ocean swimming because there's no sand for Parker to eat. We squeezed in our annual dental visits with
Dr. Nick, and then we'll be heading up to Idaho for our family reunion. My sister, Alicia, is flying in from St. Louis, and Randy from RI. It is going to be the party of all parties and I promise I will get pictures of all the fun.
