We are back in Rhode Island after having one of the funnest summers I've ever had. Ever! We were out West for five weeks but time flew by as we successfully crammed one year's worth of family fun into one month. Every weekend we went somewhere new: Franklin Idaho, Boise, Park City, and Bear Lake. I've become a pro at packing for a family of five for a quick three-day weekend, Parker has slept in more closets than I can count {large closets big enough for his pack-n play so it's all good}, and my boys sleep anywhere I throw down a sleeping bag. I am pleasantly surprised how well the single parenting thing went this summer. In fact, I still love my kids a lot and don't want them to start school so that's got to be a good sign.
But I fell short on blogging up our adventures so stay tuned for daily posts as I make up for my absence. Between the boy's diving lessons, swimming at the pool {again and again and again}, catching up with friends and family, road tripping, and not getting enough sleep, I had to let something go so I pretty much unplugged myself from the world. Now it's back to my reality--mountains of laundry, sorting through the 2,200 pictures we took {mostly thanks to Randy} and listening to my boys figure out ways they can get back to Utah sooner than later. Their last plot involved Tony Stark, aka Iron Man.
