I Think I'm a Tree Hugger

We celebrated Columbus Day in style this year by driving up to historical and quaint Lexington and Concord Massachusetts.  We were surrounded by tourists who had paid good money to see the New England leaves but we didn't spend anything more than a half a tank of gas.
The weather was perfect and the colorful fall foliage was so gorgeous it made me want to put my hand over my heart and pledge my allegiance to nature.  We hung out with the Jones's {because they are our friends and they also get federal holidays off}.  Cami took our family pictures under a beautiful tree at a historic sight along the Minute Man Trail {home of some settlers and where a British soldier was shot}.  I'll have to tell you about the rest of our adventures in another post so you're not overwhelmed by all the photos and foliage.  I couldn't take pictures fast enough and trust me, seeing it in person is much better.

I took photos while Cami was busy doing the real thing

Cami's not afraid to get a little dirty for a great shot.  I love that!

A little preview of our 2013 Christmas card - this one didn't make the cut

Parker looks like he's stuck in the tree.  He's not.
