Turkey day started with the boys heading out for a very cold football game while Parker and I held down the fort. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year and invited the Jones family down from Boston to celebrate with us.
This Thanksgiving will forever be remembered as the year I learned what the fox says. I guess I've been living under a rock because I'd never heard about it and was shocked when Marcus broke into the popular song and dance as if he could sing it in his sleep. I now know I am old and out of touch. Please tell me there is someone else out there who doesn't know what the fox says so I don't feel so alone!
Oh, and our dinner was delicious. Too bad the turkey had to cook for an extra hour and a half so we didn't feast until 7pm. Seriously, who does that? It was almost time to put the little boys to bed and we were just carving the turkey. Oh well. Next year I'll make sure I'm not in charge of the turkey. The side dishes were killer and more than made up for our almost-midnight meal. Happy Thanksgiving from Rhode Island!

Um, what fox? I know nothing.
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel better, I only found out about the fox a month ago and wish I hadn't. Your turkey and food looks divine. Someday I will be rich and famous and will fly out to wherever you are living every Thanksgiving.
