Henry started soccer! He loves it and I feel bad this was the first time he ever kicked a ball in his life. He's played plenty of lacrosse already but since his brothers are no longer soccer players I have completely neglected Henry. Oh well.
Henry and his best friend Jack |
The great thing about this soccer gig is I paid our neighbor boy $60 for a month of soccer practices and he's just coaching a bunch of Henry's friends. And did I mention they practice down the street at Big Rock Park? Yep, it's a sweet, cheap gig that takes no effort on my part.
And while I'm at it, Henry started preschool. Just like Landon and Parker, I'm holding Henry back so he's the oldest in his grade instead of the youngest. I desperately wish he could start full-day kindergarten but this decision was based on his future and not my current desire.
Miss Jackie is a great teacher and we loved her last year. Henry is not an easy kid so I literally asked her if she was willing to have him back and luckily for me, she said yes!
Henry is also obsessed with his Baby Shark hat that Ethan's girlfriend bought him. It waves when he squeezes the ends of it and it's pretty cute, especially when he puts it on before he's even fully awake in the morning.
Also, I miss Marcus who doesn't get to see this cuteness. He loves Henry and misses him so much!
