I’m catching up on the blog while I’m enjoying a weekend on the East Coast for a couple of Marcus’s lacrosse tournaments.
I’ve previously mentioned Landon’s budding YouTube career and now I have to mention what Ethan’s been up to for the past eight Covid-filled months. Ethan is the champ of keeping busy with the most random stuff and I love him for it! He’s taught himself how to juggle and is always trying to find something new to juggle with.
He got a unicycle which he lovingly refers to as “The Ball Crusher” and he’s so good on it! I wish I had a picture of him on it. He can ride it down our steep driveway and all around the neighborhood. Once he can juggle and ride the unicycle he will be ready for the circus!
He’s also figured out how to solve the Rubix Cube. I have no idea how this could be accomplished without YouTube tutorials, but even so, it’s hard to do. Now he times himself to see how fast he can solve it.
And lastly, Ethan is now living a teenager lifestyle with a group of friends consisting of boys and girls! Hallelujah! He’s been pretty lonely for the past year-and-a-half when his best friend since kindergarten moved away (I still cry thinking about that day) and his group of friends dissolved. I hate to give stupid Covid any credit but I definitely think his friends all found each other out of desperation. They get together all the time now and the boys all work out in a home gym a few nights a week too. It’s new and a little strange to have Ethan being the social one in the family and I LOVE it! Especially when he invites them over. Our house was meant for hanging out at. Three cheers for Bean!
Way to go Ethan! That's awesome! I'm so excited he's made some good friends!
