I am happy to report that Mother’s Day was not a sad one and I never shed a tear. Some years aren’t like that. It I did have a good cry over Lindsey the night before. I was watching a movie set in England and as soon as I saw the English country side it was all over for me and I started crying. Having her here feels like another lifetime ago. It’s hard to remember a world with her in it where it used to hurt imagining a world without her. Sad.
Anyway, Mother’s Day was good. I was fasting for sick Marcus who has mono and is down 20 pounds a week before playoffs. Randy wasn’t happy about this but I reminded him that he wouldn’t have to make a big breakfast before 9am church so it was a win.
The other win is that Randy fulfilled my request for en Ebike. I’ve wanted one forever and I absolutely love it! Like I can’t stop smiling when I ride it and happiness spreads from my head to my toes as I zip effortlessly up and down the steep hills of Sammamish. I highly recommend one. I’m pretty sure it could cure the deepest depression.

Speeding around in my church clothes |
Ethan loves it almost as much as I do and wasted no time hooking up Henry’s seat to it. We also attached the copilot bike to it and I pulled Ethan around. We quickly realized it was a bad idea and someone could die so we took it off.
I never got the mandatory picture of me with all my boys so the pictures I took of them looking cute will have to do.![]() |
Watching Henry’s latest favorite show The Gruffalo. He loves the book too. |

The Cinnabon cinnamon rolls I didn’t eat for breakfast. I love Marcus a lot to make such a sacrifice. |
And here are pictures from the 7.5 mile hike up Mt.Si Ethan and Randy went on with a bunch of our friends. I was happy to stay home and recover from my first dose of the vaccine.
Holy cinnamon rolls!!! That is true love to skip out on those.
