You may have noticed I’m regularly blogging every Tuesday. It’s because I take Henry to gymnastics for an hour and I’m not allowed to leave. I have to sit on the other side of the gym so I can’t really even watch him do his thing (although I do hear him getting in trouble quite a bit) so I spend the hour blogging and being productive. It’s pretty great. And Henry LOVES gymnastics. We are both counting down the days until he starts preschool in the fall.

Henry and I were twinning so I had to get a picture. Pretty sure matching my toddler when he’s dressed in his grubby clothes is a new low point |

In a desperate attempt to help Henry play instead of doing screens (the kid is addicted to them) I made this pouring station that both he and Parker enjoyed. |
Randy is a busy man!! He fell asleep scrolling on his phone. I finally pried his phone from his hands and turned off the light. He never even woke up! The practice is thriving and he’s actually looking for a part-time associate. Never thought we’d get to this point and yet here we are. God is good! Randy is also teaching early morning seminary so he gets up at 5:45am four days a week and teaches on two of those days. After working 12 hour days this rigorous schedule of getting little sleep might just kill him. Oh how I love being a single parent :(

Henry enjoys his daily FaceTime calls with Marcus and asks him every time when he’s coming back to Washington. If it were up to Marcus he would never come back. I weep. |

Marcus and cousin Sofi after his lacrosse game. The whole family was there to cheer him on after another exciting win. Sofi said “I touched his sweat.” :) |
That’s a lot of McDonald’s food right there! Randy and I made plans with friends after I realized our social lives have taken a serious hit since Covid. Since we were eating out with friends I picked up fast food for the boys. A great way to start their fasting for Fast Sunday!

A “mandatory” Sunday walk with my boys. They talk my ear off and I love it! Missing Marcus in this photo. |

Ethan and I have been doing a little whittling as a gift for a friend’s son who passed away. Luckily I didn’t need stitches after cutting myself twice. I’ll leave this hobby to Ethan! |
 |
Ignore Ethan’s mess and enjoy the view out his window. He wasted no time moving into Marcus’s room and making it his own. He opens the blinds, cracks the windows so he can hear the stream bubbling and the birds chirping and it feels like he’s in a tree house. Not a bad way to endure hybrid learning. |

Landon is obsessed with all things lacrosse and practices all the time. I love that he’s learned hard work pays off as he has become one of the strongest players on his team even though he’s one of the youngest and littlest. He prayed all week his team would win and we prayed with him. Unfortunately they got creamed so we had a lesson on faith and prayers. How wonderful that God doesn’t answer every prayer because that would be so easy and we would never learn and grow through trials.
