It’s a quiet Sunday afternoon in spite of all my boys being home. My house is NEVER quiet when everyone is home but mandatory one-hour Quiet Time on Sunday makes the quiet feel a little miraculous. And greatly appreciated by me.

| Stopping at Grandma Great’s to swim before heading on to Farmington |
Summer is flying by! So much so that I don’t think my boys have had time to be bored. We are soaking up every day of freedom from school and the monotony that comes with it. We spent a week in Utah while Marcus and Ethan went to BYU lacrosse camp. They had a good time but came home absolutely exhausted and tanned. Utah summers have become to hot and miserable. The boys spent days playing lacrosse in temps above a hundred degrees. Sounds like torture to me!
| These boys were excited but not as excited as I was! BEing back on campus brought back a million memories. Weird how it feels like I was just there and soon my kids will be there. I hope. |
While the big boys played lacrosse, I hung out in Farmington, mostly with Henry. He still needed more mom time to recover from being abandoned while I was on the East Coast. Landon and Parker loved it up at the Johnson’s playing hard all day every day.

| Henry opened his presents (remote control cars) on his actual birthday |
| Little Caesar’s pizza and a backyard swim party |
| Cousins and neighbor friends all playing together |
| We spent several hours at Cherry Hill |
| Driving the new remote control cars |
| We drove into Salt Lake for the Pioneer Day parade preview. The highlight was checking out the bus |
Henry’s favorite color is red and when he asked for a red ice cream cone his wish was granted!
I picked up the boys from lax camp and the nest day they flew with me to San Jose, CA for Marcus’s last lacrosse tournament with his club team. Randy flew down to Seattle to join us. The littles were left in good hands with April and Toby and even went to a rodeo. April was a rock star and made sure Henry napped so I think things went well while I was gone. |
| Uncle Toby worked hard to win Henry over and it paid off |
And last but not least, I got together will my high school friends for a backyard BBQ. We had so much fun, laughed our heads off, caught up with everyone, and then laughed some more. These friends will always hold a special place in my heart.
