Landon did cross country this fall and I'd be a bad mom if I didn't post pictures about it. Especially since there are plenty of pictures of Marcus and Ethan and their cross country races through the years. Landon is not a runner but he willingly participated because that's what the Ball boys do. Plus he knew it would help him with lacrosse so he considered it cross training. I told all his friends' moms about how wonderful it is for the kids to go running after school instead of coming home and being bored on screens. They listened and Landon ended up having lots of friends to run with. Oh, and let's not forget that in all my recruiting I missed the deadline to sign Landon up for the cross country season. I literally had to pull him out of school and drive him to the urgent care for a quick physical after the office lady actually checked the paper work that I had turned in with a physician's signature belonging to Dr. Ball. In my defense, it worked every other year and after a lot of groveling, Landon was the last kid added to the team. He ran great, and toughed it out with shin splints so bad he could barely walk. Yay for Landon!
