Our family before Okinawa
Our family now
Then
Now
A lot can happen in three years. We never expected to love Okinawa as much as we do. We fly out early Saturday morning on our longest flight yet, leaving Okinawa for the last time. Right now we are too busy and stressed to be sad but we will be sad, very sad.
Seattle, here we come! Well, actually I'm flying on to Utah while Randy finds us a house but I'll get there eventually.
0 days left in Japan
I'm going to miss your posts about Okinawa too. Makes me sad you are leaving.
ReplyDeleteMel- I'm seriously crying for you right now. I know you are so busy and it won't sink in until you are gone. I know you loved it there as much as we did. I'm so glad we had such a great group to remember it with. I think we should all plan on meeting back there in ten years. Good luck in Seattle and I'll be checking in to see your new adventures. Go check out Forks for me.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say good-bye but I won't have a chance to see you.
ReplyDeleteMel, it's been a pleasure knowing you and your family. What a gift you have been to us ... I hope we see each other again on this crazy military journey.
God bless,
Team Kasuske
PS ... PLEASE keep blogging ... you do a wonderful job and it's so much fun to read!
Mel-I'm excited for you to go to Seattle!!! My sister lives there and loves it. You are changed forever having put your stamp on Japan, but a new adventure awaits.
ReplyDeleteMy sister's name is Jill Green and she lives in Puyallup. Do you know where you are going to be?
