Marcus kissed his kindergarten career good-bye on Friday afternoon. This kid started his first day of school in Utah and ended it in Utah, with a big chunk of time in Okinawa in between. Switching back and forth between schools wasn't ideal but having his best friend/cousin in his Utah class made the transition a lot easier. We celebrated the end of a crazy year by going swimming (for the first time since Oki) and eating pizza.
Marcus was so excited he could jump off the high dive without passing a swim test like he had to in Oki, he kept jumping until the pool closed.
Marcus has grown so much since you first moved to Oki! What a handsome young man you have.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Marcus!!
BTW ... you're braver than I with that high dive business.

What a stud!
ReplyDeleteHey!
ReplyDeleteIt was so great to have Randy out-we're glad you guys are going to be so close! So we want to help out-we're great movers and we've got family in Seattle. So when you move in if you need our help-and don't even act like you don't-then let us know. We'll stay with my sister and work like dogs for the cause.

p.s. Bridger charges a nominal fee of chocolate milk and a pack of smarties half paid up front and the other half when the job is complete.
That is one well traveled Kindergartner graduate!!! Yes, the swim test is flat out annoying!!! Way to go Marcus!!!
