All phrases to describe how easy it is to drive, not fly, with kids. If I never fly again I will feel so complete. Also, my boys seriously rock.
Marcus was my number one helper when he wasn't building with Lego or playing a video game.
Ethan kept himself entertained with a single toy bought at the dollar store.
Landon hung out in his car seat, entertained by toys, bottles, and brothers.
If you don't count the one hour we spent in traffic when the highway was shut down, the drive took 12 hours. Totally doable which is so great for me since I plan to go back to Utah anytime I feel like it. Just because I can. For the first time in my entire married career.
Whoo hoo! This is so awesome. I love how most people would think this drive would be eternity, but you think it's a walk in the park compared to the Oki flight. Way to go, Super Mom!

ReplyDeletelove it!!! one perk of military life, right?!! makes us tough.....or something like that.
ReplyDeleteRemember how I need to help you spice up your blog? I do. :)

ReplyDeleteOh I am sooo happy to read this post since I also plan to drive home to family and it is a 14 hour trip!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they believed the trip was already over (usually 24hrs, 3 planes and a 2 hour car ride for us!).
Good job Mel & MEL!!
