Pike Place Market

We hit Seattle's most popular tourist attraction: Pike Place Market. Lots of stores selling fresh produce and fresh seafood with hundreds of tourists milling around made this a chaotic place to visit.

We worked up an appetite so we headed to The Crab Pot, home of the messiest meal on earth. They're famous for their crab meals where they give you a mallet to smash the crabs, a bib to protect your clothes, and a roll of paper towels for your messy hands. We opted for a slightly cleaner option: spicy shrimp.
After pulling off the heads, including their little black eyeballs, then the rest of the shell, we had quite the tasty piece of shrimp and I had the messy fingers to prove it.

Afterwards we walked along the waterfront to get away from the crowds. Not sure if that's ocean or lake behind us but it was beautiful.

  1. It's like déjà vu seeing your pictures. I wish we could have seen you guys before we moved. Looks like the Puget Sound behind you. Hope you guys are having a good time.

  3. Love Pike's market! I went there for choir trips and had a fish thrown at me from one of the fish mongerer's. Not sure if that's what they're called
