My Favorite Things

"If you let me sleep, you will be my favorite,"  I tell my boys.  Sleep is wonderful and when I don't get enough of it I don't function happily.  Parker is a rock star when it comes to sleeping.  Sometimes he wakes up once a night but that is rare.  He is also proof that sometimes kids just come as they are and there's not a lot you can do to change that.  I have done nothing different with Parker than I've done with my other babies and yet he is the best sleeper ever.  Truly a miracle.  My other miracles are pretty great too, but for various other reasons.  It was so entertaining to hear what they were thankful for in a word.

Ethan's Thanksgiving Essay:
I am thankful for my hous and God.  I am thankful for my hous beckuse I liv in it.  I am thankful for God beckus he made me and I luve him.

Marcus's Thanksgiving Essay:
I am thankful for my TV.   If I didn't have it I would not be able to watch my favorite shows.  Or play my Wii.  Also, I wouldn't be able to watch the Super Bowl and soccer games.  Thats why I am thankful for my TV.
Next, I am thankful for my mom and dad.  They care for me.  They buy me clothes, Legos and a bunch of other stuff.  They make sure I have a warm bed to sleep in and a nice house to live in.  That's why I am thankful for my parents.

I think Ethan is now my favorite son.
