I Heart Boston
I know you're sick of hearing about Boston but I have to throw in this family pic we took in front of the Boston Temple last weekend. This was the first time our boys had been there and going back to the Arlington Ward (congregation) after all these years was a big deal. I was surprised we still knew so many people. As soon as we got there we were hugging and greeting old friends in the parking lot, then in the foyer, with more hugs and greetings after the meeting. We'd only been there a few minutes when I leaned over to Randy with tears in my eyes and said, "I feel like we're home!" It was unexpected to still feel such an attachment to a place we haven't been to in so long, but so much happened while we lived there. We had only been married three weeks when we first moved there and four years later had seen us through dental school, graduations, and the birth of two boys. If Boston were on the West Coast I'd settle there in a heartbeat.
In other news, Randy has been looking for a moonlighting opportunity (working as an endodontist in a private practice). I have a long list of things I'd like to do with the added income but I decided if he were to really bring home the big bucks (in my dreams), I'd use the money to rent a home in Boston so we could go there on the weekends. It would be perfect.
