Henry got his tonsils out last week. They were absolutely huge and we are so excited to have them out. Henry was brave and handled the whole thing like a champ. He even wore his lucky Lightning McQueen pajamas that originated with Marcus and have been passed down to each brother. I don't know how they are still intact after all the years of wear and use.
Henry's procedure was done at a surgery center and the whole process was so fast. Randy texted for an update and we were already home. It was that fast! Maybe with his better sleep quality, Henry will actually start growing. He's the third percentile for height so his giant tonsil are the least of his problems :)

He's not sure what to think about the huge holes in this throat where his kissing tonsils used to be |
Before (not sure how even swallowed with those bad boys blocking everything)
After six days of eating meals in front of the TV, Henry is back at school today. Fingers crossed he survives! Click here to seen when little Marcus got his tonsils out and click here to see Ethan. Apparently giant tonsils run in our family :)
Since this wasn't my first rodeo, you won't be surprised to know that as soon as we were home and Henry was settled in, I raced to a fancy Korean restaurant in Bellevue for lunch with friends. Thankfully Marcus was home to take care of Henry who was still enjoying the high from heavy drugs.
