The Annual Johnson Visit

While Marcus and I were finishing our lacrosse trip in NY, the Johnsons’s came for their summer visit and boy was I glad to know they were taking care of my boys while I was away! I have very few pictures of the fun that was had so you’ll miss the picture of Henry going down the slip ‘n slide naked. He went really fast!  And there’s a great picture of Toby’s  bum hanging out the window of the van so everyone could squish inside with the giant new TV April bought (with my card) and set up for us. Now we have a TV and surround sound and if anything goes wrong I’ll have to call April to help us. 

We did all the usual things like swim at Pine Lake, bike at the park, ice cream and root beer floats, and so much fun that even the teenagers were fun to have around. 

I laughed til I cried as Toby helped me dump our full garbage cans at our office dumpster. Apparently randy can’t remember to take out the garbage on garbage day even when I’m out of town. 

I was so happy to be reunited with my boys after the East Coast. And cousin Michelle gave me the best shirt ever!

Henry didn’t nap while I was gone or go to bed at a decent hour so he slept a lot once I got home. It took a few days for his grumpiness to wear off.

A trip to the temple to do temple work for the dead…too bad busy schedules kept half our group from going. 

Vasa Park is a great place to swim even if there are alligators!

This temple trip was special because not only did we have the whole place to ourselves but we got to help ourselves to the ice cream machine afterwards. Temple + ice cream = winning
