Let's be honest. There's just not that much to do in Seattle so when Randy got an email inviting us to join a bowling league we jumped at the chance. It's with a bunch of couples from our ward (aka church group). It's super nerdy, super fun, and super old school. We love it! We meet every Friday night and bowl three games. Our team, the
Gutta Ballz, was in 4th place out of the entire league because of our hard core awesomeness but last week I broke that streak with a whopping high score of 76. Luckily we've still got a few weeks left for me to redeem myself. I'm thinking it's about time to invest in bowling shoes for the family since bowling is a great rainy day activity so I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot of it.
Speaking of bowling, we pigged out on the best ribs ever while we watched the Super Bowl. For the first time in
three years we got to watch it live
with the commercials. Our favorite was the VW commercial with the kid dressed as Darth Vader. For our Oki friends who didn't get to see the commercials, you can

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun looking group of people! And who doesn't love bowling? Just wait until summer - hopefully it'll make up for all the days you were indoors ... if not you'll be growing webbed feet and enduring the rain. Hang in there.
